Refunds & cancellation

How to stop renewals and request a payment review.

Last updated: October 13, 2026
Policy version: 2026-10-13

Recurring payments and authorization

Before payment, the dashboard identifies the selected plan, price, seven-day trial, billing interval, automatic renewal, taxes, cancellation path, and discretionary refund policy. You must expressly authorize Ashore Hosting LLC to charge the displayed amount after the trial and renew it monthly or annually before Stripe Checkout opens. Stripe collects payment details on its own checkout page; Ashore does not receive or store card numbers.

Canceling renewal

Open Workspace → Billing, select “Manage billing,” and cancel through Stripe’s customer portal before the next renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The portal confirmation and workspace state are the authoritative indicators after processing.

If the portal is unavailable or you cannot complete it, send an identifiable cancellation request to the support contact below. A request is effective when received, subject to reasonable verification of the account and authority. Support will confirm the subscription state or explain what information is needed. Do not send card details or passwords.

Renewal charges after cancellation

If a timely cancellation request was received but a renewal charge was nevertheless made, contact support promptly with the request time and payment reference. We will review the request, portal/provider timestamps, and account state. Where the charge resulted from Ashore’s failure to process a valid timely request, Ashore Hosting LLC will refund the affected renewal through the payment processor, subject to applicable law and payment-network limits.

Access, export, and deletion

Cancellation stops future renewal but does not immediately end the paid service. Hosting continues through the paid period unless the Terms of service or a safety/security action requires earlier suspension. Export any data you need before the paid period ends; exports may become unavailable when hosting ends, the workspace is suspended, or the relevant application or storage is deleted.

When prepaid service ends, Ashore Hosting LLC may restrict hosting and begin deletion of hosted resources after the retention or grace period stated in the Terms and Privacy notice. Cancellation alone does not delete an account or containers. Request account and instance deletion through the privacy contact; deletion removes hosted resources through the deletion workflow and may retain billing, policy, audit, legal-hold, job-history, provider-log, backup, and other records described in the Privacy notice.

First-payment review

You may ask us to review the first successful Ashore subscription payment for a particular subscription—not the first payment per customer or workspace—within seven calendar days after that payment succeeds. The request must be received within the seven-day period. This is a discretionary review policy, not an unconditional money-back guarantee, and does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Send the request to support with your username, payment date, Stripe receipt or invoice reference, and a brief explanation. We aim to acknowledge a request within two business days and give a decision or status update within ten business days. Timing may be longer when Stripe, a bank, fraud review, or missing verification is involved.

Other billing and service problems

Use the same support process, outside the seven-day first-payment review, for duplicate charges, billing errors, failed provisioning, an undelivered or materially unavailable service, unauthorized charges, or a payment applied to the wrong account. Include the account identifier and payment reference; never send full card data. We investigate the relevant records and explain any correction, credit, refund, or denial.

If Ashore Hosting LLC ends a prepaid service or materially ends hosting before the paid period expires for a reason unrelated to your breach, support will review a reasonable transition or refund of the unused prepaid portion, subject to applicable law, operational feasibility, and payment-provider limits. No refund is promised for suspension or termination caused by abuse, unlawful use, non-payment, or another customer breach.

Refund method and rights

Approved refunds are sent through the payment processor to the original payment method where supported. Processing and bank timing vary. A refund request does not cancel renewal; cancel separately and obtain confirmation. This policy does not promise prorated refunds for ordinary unused time. Consumer, payment-network, and other mandatory legal rights control if they provide a different result.
