Terms of service

What Ashore provides and the responsibilities that come with using it.

Ashore Terms of Service

1. Operator, acceptance, and eligibility
Ashore is operated by Ashore Hosting LLC. These terms apply when you check the acceptance box and submit the current version during sign-in or registration. The service is intended for US customers who are at least 18 and able to enter a contract.

2. Hosting services and plan limits
Ashore provides hosting for supported applications, deployment tools, and access through instance addresses. Plans have the storage, resource, and running-application limits published before purchase. VPS plans have separate specifications and management responsibilities. Ashore does not provide media, content licenses, debrid subscriptions, indexer access, or third-party API credits.

3. Access and intellectual property
Ashore grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the dashboard and services for authorized operations. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, scan, or bypass access controls for the dashboard or shared infrastructure. Ashore and its licensors retain their intellectual-property rights. Hosted applications remain subject to their own licenses.

4. Billing and cancellation
Prices, applicable taxes, billing intervals, trial terms, and recurring-payment terms are shown before payment. New subscriptions begin with a seven-day trial after a payment method is collected; the selected recurring price and applicable taxes are charged when the trial ends unless canceled. Explicit billing authorization is required before checkout. Renewals continue until canceled through the billing portal or an identifiable support request; a verified request is effective when received. Cancellation normally stops renewal at the end of the paid period. Duplicate charges, billing errors, failed provisioning, undelivered service, timely-cancellation renewal charges, and discontinuation of prepaid service are reviewed under the Refunds & cancellation policy.

5. Applications, content, and feedback
You retain rights in your data and authorize Ashore to process it to provide, maintain, secure, and support hosting. You are responsible for your configuration, accounts, credentials, and content. Ashore may use unconfidential suggestions to improve the service without acquiring rights in hosted content.

6. Expired plans and hosted data
After a paid period ends, Ashore may restrict hosting and stop accepting application operations. Export access is available only while the account and required infrastructure remain available; request exports before the paid period ends or termination. When hosting stops, deletion of hosted resources may begin through the service lifecycle while account, billing, policy, security, and job records follow their separate retention periods in the Privacy notice. A suspension or termination notice will identify any available retrieval period when practicable.

7. Independent services and subprocessors
Third-party projects, Stripe, infrastructure, hosting, Kubernetes, image-registry, DNS, TLS, support, and other providers may process information needed to operate the service as subprocessors or independent providers, depending on the service and applicable law. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. Request a data-processing agreement where your use or applicable law requires one.

8. Availability, support, and backups
Maintenance, faults, security incidents, and provider failures may interrupt service. No uptime SLA, recovery guarantee, or support response time exists unless expressly included in a plan. Keep independent backups.

9. Restrictions and termination
Follow the acceptable-use policy and the general copyright-reporting policy at /dmca. Authorized testing of your own customer-controlled applications is permitted when it does not attack, scan, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to Ashore or shared infrastructure. We may restrict or terminate service for violations, nonpayment, security threats, unlawful activity, or legal obligations. We will provide notice and a path to retrieve lawful data where practicable; export access may end when hosting stops, infrastructure is released, or deletion begins.

10. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you must defend and reimburse Ashore Hosting LLC for third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, violation of these terms, or infringement. Ashore will provide prompt notice, reasonable cooperation, and control of the defense; no settlement may impose an admission, obligation, or payment on Ashore without its written consent.

11. IMPORTANT: Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as-is and as-available to the extent permitted by law. Ashore is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, lost-profit, lost-revenue, or lost-data losses. Aggregate direct liability is limited to fees paid for the affected subscription in the twelve months before the event. This cap does not limit approved refunds, payment corrections, or amounts that cannot legally be limited, and it does not remove any mandatory remedy for data loss or other liability that law makes non-waivable.

12. Changes and disputes
Material price or terms changes will be notified directly through the account contact channel or another direct notice method before taking effect. The notice will state the effective date; changes take effect on that date, and renewed consent is obtained where required. No arbitration or class-action waiver applies.

13. General terms
These terms, the privacy notice, cookie notice, acceptable-use policy, refund policy, general copyright-reporting policy, and applicable plan terms form the agreement. If policies conflict, the specific plan or transaction terms control for that transaction; these terms control service use; the privacy notice controls personal-data processing; and the cookie notice controls browser technologies. Invalid provisions are narrowed without invalidating the remainder. Accessibility issues may be reported to support.

14. Privacy
The privacy and cookie notices explain information handling and browser technologies.

Structure adapted from the General Legal terms-of-use template, released under CC0. These Ashore terms are service-specific and are not legal advice.
